MINOTAUR
Minotaurs are large and powerful bovine creatures with an affinity for complex terrain and music.
[example species: cattle, dik diks, bison, ox, buffalo, pigs, boars, goats, sheep, hippos and elephants]
✧ MANDATORY ✧
✦ Feeding: Flesh.
✦ Sharp horns and/or sharp tusks, capable of piercing through a human body.
✦ Animal ears and tail.
✦ Thicker nails on the hands and toes.
✦ Sharper senses. Minotaurs have excellent motion detection and low-light vision, as well as sharp and directional hearing.
✦ The ability to sense the layout of surrounding terrain and find their way around and out of any area, including forests, caves/tunnels, mazes and cities.
✦ Increased strength and stamina. Minotaurs are one of the physically strongest monsters and incredibly determined.
✦ Berserker rage. Minotaurs can temporarily enter a berserker state where all their physical attributes are increased and they feel much less pain, but are heedless of danger and damage to themselves.
✦ A weakness to loud noises and overwhelming visual stimuli. Becoming sensory-overwhelmed can disorient them, disrupt their directional sense, and/or drive them into a rage. They are also especially susceptible to other monsters' sound-based abilities such as song.
✧ OPTIONAL ✧
✦ Travel form. Minotaurs can take on a mundane animal form to move more quickly and stealthily at the cost of being more vulnerable.
✦ A thick mane from head to tail.
✦ Any additional animal traits like fur anywhere on the body, digitigrade legs and/or cloven hooves for feet, snout or trunk, etc.
✦ Longer arms to run on all fours.
✦ Powerful kicks that can smash through rock.
✦ Centaur form.
✦ A shorter temper.
✦ A keen ear for music and the ability to pick up musical instruments very quickly. Minotaur music can lull nearby people into a vulnerable, dreamlike state.
