VAMPIRE
Vampires are undead blood-feeders, some with bat aesthetic influences.
[example species: all bats, and all blood-feeding animals including leeches, insects, parasites, etc]
✧ MANDATORY ✧
✦ Feeding: Blood.
✦ Undead. This includes a dead body and more pallid skin, though appearance-based effects may be alleviated for a time after feeding.
✦ Vampire fangs.
✦ Weakness to sunlight. Vampires burn in the sun and must either keep themselves covered/shaded or go out at night.
✦ Weakness to silver. Burns on contact and can kill if shot or stabbed with silver.
✦ Sharper senses. Vampires are attuned to the scent of blood and can hear the pulses of those nearby who have them.
✦ Bloodthirst. Even if sated, vampires tend to crave blood and can be distracted or affected by spilled blood.
✧ OPTIONAL ✧
✦ Travel form. Vampires can turn into a mundane animal to fly freely in exchange for being more vulnerable. Alternatively, they may take the form of a small swarm of said creatures (same total mass of monster form).
✦ Mist form. Vampires will be invulnerable as mist and can move freely, but cannot feed, cause any damage or access their other powers.
✦ Eye color ranging from pale pink to bright red. May only appear if a vampire is hungry, or conversely has recently fed.
✦ Fang marks on the neck.
✦ Pointed ears.
✦ Animal features - large ears, tail, fur, snout, etc.
✦ Elongated fingers and/or claws.
✦ Batlike wing membrane between the arms and/or fingers to be used for gliding but not free-flight.
✦ Elongated, backwards-bending legs with clawed feet to grasp surfaces to hang upside down.
✦ Hypnotic influence over humans. Can be used to immobilize them for feeding, while more experienced vampires can create human thralls.
✦ Superhuman speed. Can move much faster than humans, appearing as a blur. Great for baseball.
✦ Arrogant nature. Thinks of themselves as better than humans and affected by flattery.
